The first step to get onboard is to register to the platform for a seller account with a valid Malaysian phone number, which is then verified via OTP. Once an account is registered, sellers will need to fulfil the following 4 STEPS prior to selling:
1. Fill in a valid, reachable email address. Lazada sends out pertinent information via email on a regularly basis. Please ensure a valid email address is provided.
2. Fill in a valid Malaysian warehouse address/business address/return address. Your Buyers/Customers will require a valid return address in the event of item exchange or refund.
3. Fill in and submit your NRIC or Business Registration document (SSM Form 9) with a matching bank statement.
- Lazada maintains a strict seller verification process to ensure the safety of both Buyers and Sellers.
- All Lazada sellers will need to be verified before they go live (live – defined as viewable and searchable on platform).
- For Individual sellers: submitted NRIC should match with bank statement (Savings Account)
- For Corporate sellers: submitted SSM should match with bank statement (Current Account)
4. Upload at least 1 product to go LIVE.
